Oh oh, who let the cat out?

Burton created a monster today! We were sitting out on our deck and one of our cats, D.C. was hollering cuz he wanted to come out.. Burton got up and went inside. Something told me he was up to no good and I was right.... he put D.C. on a leash and brought him out on the deck through the sliding glass door from the dining room. Later he went in and I was sitting on the deck reading and listening to D.C. throwing a fit because he wanted to come out. Then he got quiet. The mother in me said quiet when 'kids' are around is not a good thing. I looked up and saw D.C. come around the corner of the fireplace. I picked him up (not exactly an easy thing cuz he is a fat boy) and peeked around the corner. Just what I figured... DC. created a screen door opening so he could come out, too. D.C. earned his name. Perhaps Burton did, too.... here's your sign!

We are still suffering under the hand of Global Warming this Christmas ;) but

I am hoping to see some of the pure and clean snow I once enjoyed while attending Pinecrest Bible Training Center in Salisbury Center, NY. Until then I am posting a picture of snow at Pinecrest I bumped into a few minutes ago. I soooo miss the beauty of the grounds of Pinecrest and the move of the Holy Spirit we experienced continuously while I was there.

Here is a portrait of myself I just finished ... a selfie was the model!

I wanted to try another portrait of myself this past week so I picked a picture from my Selfie folder and went to town. Finished it today while a fantastic Geek Squad Agent (Arvin) figured out how to straighten out the mess my Blogspot had gotten into! I will start with the Photo and then the sketches.

I'M BAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the Spring all of a sudden I couldn't post here. I tried forever and couldn't get things to work. I contacted Blogspot but got no answers, tried everything but nothing worked. Even people who should have known how to fix it couldn't fix it.... until today! I got Geek Squad Agent Arvin who worked on it for hours and hours and hours until he was able to fix it! I couldn't believe it! Thank you Arvin for your patience and ability! I've never seen anyone who refused to give up until the problem was totally corrected!

God is good!

I have a lot of artwork that I will be adding here so check back and see what I am going to add!

Mermaids of Ocean View waiting for the storm.

Here is a picture I created in 2004.  We were waiting for either Katrina or Isabelle to come.

06 April 2015

This years Easter Sunday..... :O

Hope all had a Blessed Easter! Mine was interesting. First thing I did was forget to take my meds.... really enjoyed church.... hubby started cooking turkey, left instructions for me to follow (he researched how to on the internet then left to go minister at a Nursing Facility, leaving me to deal. ( He was suppose to get a Turkey Breast but somehow he got a whole turkey - I always use the bag or get one of those turkeys with the pop-up timer but not Burton.) I followed his directions... it did not look like a Martha Stewart turkey, infact it looked like a burnt shoe!. God must have placed his hand on that turkey because it actually was tender and moist once we got rid of the skin and he infused the bird with the juices.

It was during the late afternoon when I began to feel sick and sweat bad. That is when I discovered I had forgotten my meds so I guess I was going through withdrawals! I did take some Alpozalam to help but later I finally had a glass of wine to relax, I haven't sweat like that since I went through 24 hours of child labor! Freaked me out!

But my guests didn't get saminella due to turkey being overcooked, and it was a nice visit. My son brought a friend, beautiful lady, and I totally enjoyed sharing some of the 'fun info' about my son and myself, there is so much to share between our lives! LOL
Got to bed fairly late for us and when I got up I MADE Sure I took my meds! Withdrawals are not fun especially on Easter Sunday!
